Ye! Regional Spotlight

The ‪Ye! Community is a global platform powered by the International Trade Centre (ITC) that supports young entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs in building impactful businesses and enhancing economic development.

The Hub hosted the Ye! Ecopreneur Program in partnership with the Ye! Community, funded by UNCCD to support entrepreneurs in land restoration and green business solutions. As one of 5 business support organizations (BSOs) chosen across the global Ye! Community as a regional spotlight, The Hub supported twenty-five entrepreneurs from The Gambia, Nigeria, Benin, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania through a Global Accelerator Bootcamp. 

This boot camp kick started in February to June 2024 and consisted of masterclasses followed by check-in sessions with the entrepreneurs. As a regional spotlight, The Hub facilitated and strengthened the understanding of these review/check-in sessions on different topics in line with the Global Boot Camp. 

125 entrepreneurs participated across Africa; from which two of the finalists came from our cohort.
