THE HUB NATIONWIDE ROBOTICS
This program will target 10 to 16 year olds and will span for 3 months. During this time, participants will attend weekly classes which will kick start with Digital Literacy followed by programming in Scratch, Python and the design and assembly of a EV3 Lego Mindstorm Robot.

About the Event
The aim of the Robotics program is to provide a platform where the children are able to have access to these tools at no cost and to be able to explore the exciting world of tech, engineering and science all rolled into one. This will allow them to innovate using tools that would not necessarily be at their disposal due to high cost.
The program will start off with a Digital Literacy element to ensure that all students have the necessary skill set to embark on this journey. This will be followed by 2 and a half months of intense, hands on training in Scratch Programming, Python and eventually the programming and operation of a robot through a group project. We also aim to foster teamwork and leadership skills during the course of the program with coaching in soft skills embedded in the training. The program will be based on a structured robotics curriculum which will be carved around blocks of 3 months training
