Weekly Structure: Three days a week 

Time: 09:00 to 13:00 & 13:00 to 16:30

The Hub Boot Camp is a 5-week intensive program touching on the following thematic areas: Web development, Robotics, Cyber security and Coding.

Program Schedule:

Web Development 

  • Introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Setting up a development environment (text editor, browser )
  • Styling web pages with CSS3, responsive design principles
  • Introduction to CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) for rapid development
  • Introduction to wordpress 
  • Individual project 

Robotics 

  • Overview of robotics and its applications in various industries
  • Introduction to robot components: sensors, actuators, and controllers
  • Introduction to programming concepts: variables, conditionals, loops 
  • Introduction to programming languages for robotics (e.g., Python, Scratch)
  • Debugging and troubleshooting code for robotics applications
  • Design thinking process
  • building and programming robots
  • Controlling robot movements and behaviors
  • Collaboration on group projects to solve challenges using robotics

Coding 

  • Overview of programming languages and their applications
  • Introduction to problem-solving techniques and algorithms
  • Basics of programming concepts: variables, data types, operators, and control structures
  • Introduction to a programming language ( Python, Java )
  • Strategies and techniques for testing code
  • Debugging tools and methodologies
  • Group project 

Cybersecurity

  • Understanding the importance of cybersecurity and its role in today's digital world
  • Learning about common online threats and how to protect against them
  • Ethical hacking exercises to understand vulnerabilities and practice responsible behavior
  • Fundamentals of network security principles
  • Understanding network protocols and vulnerabilities
  • Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation
  • Implementing secure network architectures
  • CTF basic games
