About the Event
The Hub in collaboration with The Robotics Hub, in a bid to impact youngsters in the area of programming and robotics, have now rolled out robotics classes. Classes target ages 6 to 14 and will run for a period of 3 months per co-hort.
Each cohort will consist of two groups:
· A group of 6-9 year olds
· A group of 10-14 year olds
The cohorts will cover the following during the 3-month stint
FIRST MONTH:- Introduction to Programming using Scratch, Introduction to Design
SECOND MONTH:- Assembly and design of the Robot
Presentation of Group Project
FIRST MONTH:- Introduction to Programming using Python, Introduction to Design
SECOND MONTH:- Assembly and design of the Robot
Presentation of Group Project
COVID-19 Measures
The Hub is fully compliant with COVID-19 regulations in line with the Ministry of Health. Wash hand stations will be available at the entrance to be used prior to entry into The Hub. Temperature checks will also be done prior to entry. The venue has sanitizer pumps stationed at all sections and is well ventilated. All participants and instructors are required to wear masks.
