Agro Processing Digital Literacy (ITC)
The Agro Processing Digital Literacy Program targeted entrepreneurs across the country in six regions with the aim of providing access to digital markets . The one week project kick started on the 4th of September 2023. Thirty participants from WCR, NBR, LRR, CRR and URR were trained on Digital Literacy and Photography skills.
About The Program
The Hub Ltd in collaboration with the International Trade Centre conducted a digital Literacy Training for Thirty entrepreneurs across the country. The participants were trained on areas such as:
Social media marketing
Digital communication tools
Safety and security online
This training aimed to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world responsibly, including safeguarding their personal information.
It's worth mentioning that the training program had a significant focus on empowering women, with eighty percent of the participants being women. These entrepreneurs are engaged in various industries, including food processing, fashion accessories, cosmetics, and poultry farming. The participants came from different regions, such as LRR, CRR, URR, and NBR, showcasing the diverse representation.
Following the week-long training, all participants were provided with mentors who will guide and coach them in their businesses. These coaching sessions will play a vital role in helping the entrepreneurs determine their next steps and make informed decisions for their ventures. It's an exciting initiative that will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of these entrepreneurs in the digital era.
